A Note From Our Founder
Before Whiten, I was Nicole, an OFW in Dubai, working far from home and doing what so many Filipinos do: sacrificing today for the hope of a better tomorrow.
I know how easy it is to keep showing up for everyone else and quietly place yourself last. We tell ourselves, “Kapag may time na. Kapag okay na ang lahat.” But most days, that time never comes.
Living abroad taught me that self-care is not something we earn only after every responsibility is finished.
Sometimes, it is the small act that helps us feel like ourselves again. That belief came home with me.
Whiten started small, inside a modest apartment in Sampaloc, with a few clients who trusted me and a dream that felt much bigger than the room we were in. There was no perfect beginning. There was hard work, faith and the decision to keep going, one client at a time.
Today, Whiten has grown into a nationwide Filipino beauty and wellness brand. But the reason behind it has never changed.
I created Whiten to make self-care feel more accessible, not only for people who can visit a clinic, but also for the busy mother, the hardworking OFW, the entrepreneur and anyone who has spent too long taking care of everyone except themselves.
